In this step-by-step course on bass guitar, you'll be given all of the necessary tools—from music theory and reading music, to scales and chord progressions. You'll be able to take your first step into the world of bass playing confidently and boldly.
Through the duration of this course, you'll learn the bass line patterns, chords, scales, and chord progressions in order to become a well-rounded bass player. No more months of dead-end, trial-and-error efforts of learning to play the bass. Instead, you'll follow a system that leads you through the learning process by hand—beginning with the basics and continuing to chord progression and playing the blues.
Once you feel comfortable with all of the information and exercises Tony Marvelli teaches you, you'll be ready to explore and demonstrate your new skills with a real band using the Jam-Along CD. This CD has a stereo split-track feature that allows you to hear a full band in the left channel and the bass guitar in the right channel, which will assist you in improving your skills as a bass player in a band and as a soloist.
