Session One

You are on your way! Here is some additional advice from Steve to help you continue through Session One and into Session Two. Remember, you are building the foundation for a lifetime of guitar mastery!

Sore fingers, clumsy notes, repetitive exercises. Admittedly, this is not the fun part of Gibson's Learn & Master Guitar.

Think of this like finger boot camp. It's all a necessary part of the introductory guitar skills that you will build upon, but soon, the fun begins!

If you have not already, be sure to register for the Learn & Master Student Support Forum. It truly is a necessary part of the learning process. You will quickly find that you are not learning alone, rather with a whole community of Gibson's Learn & Master Guitar students, all of whom love to help and encourage each other.

A good place to start is the Session One Sub-Forum. So many other students have been right where you are. Take a few minutes and get some motivation from them!

And as you progress, go ahead and take a peek at the Session Two Sub-Forum. And for a little more motivation, here are some videos from other students to show you where you will be someday.

When you login next time, remember to tell us where you are so that you continue to get encouraging and helpful emails and videos from Steve along your journey.

And don't forget those string names: E, B, G, D, A, E
